Carrie Vanhoose

Carrie Elizabeth "Carrie Bird" VanHoose, 39, of Chillicothe, died 10:24 am, Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Heinzerling Memorial Foundation. She was born June 16, 1977, in Chillicothe, to Michael D. and Rita D. Sanders VanHoose, who survive. Also surviving are her siblings, Sarah (Shawn) Johnson and Shannon VanHoose, of Chillicothe; a nephew, Andrew Sowers and a niece, Kateland VanHoose. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jake and Mildred Sanders and Jack and Bernadine VanHoose. Carrie was a graduate of the Pioneer School. She moved to the Heinzerling Foundation in 1995. Although Carrie spent her life unable to see or speak, she was always pleasant, and touched many lives. To her family, she was an angel, here on earth. They now rest assured that she is an angel in heaven. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, Rev. John Burris officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call 4-6 pm Tuesday at Haller's.
