Carolyn Fizer

Carolyn K. Fizer Carolyn K. Fizer, 66, of Chillicothe, died 5:47 pm, Tuesday, April 18, 2006 unexpectedly in the Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born July 17, 1939 in Jackson Co. to Raymond and Mona Bondurant Woolum. On September 27, 1960 she married Donald E. Fizer, who survives. In addition to her mother and husband, survivors include two daughters, Beth (Randy) Gable, and Sheri (Tony) Fultz, both of Chillicothe; six grandchildren, Madison Rae-Anne, Zachary Robert and Moriah Dawn Barlage Gable, Leslie Kay, Andrew Tony and Megan Jordyn Fultz; a brother, Raymond Lowell (Robin) Woolum, of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews and a special cousin and best friend, Joann Leach. She was preceded in death by her father. Mrs. Fizer graduated from CHS in 1957 and was a 1960 graduate of the Springfield School of Nursing. She retired from the Adena Health System, as an RN, in 1985. She was an avid reader, a long time 4H Advisor and enjoyed spending time with her family. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 22, 2006 in the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Charles Case and Rev. Raymond Welch officiating. Burial will follow in Huntington Township Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Friday and one hour prior to the funeral services at Haller's.
