Carol Lemaster

Carol L. LeMaster, 83, of Chillicothe, died at 10:15am Tuesday, June 29, 2010, in her home following a brief illness. She was born December 24, 1926, in Chillicothe, to the late George Thomas and Erma Loretta Knapp Knox. On September 15, 1945, she married James F. LeMaster, who preceded her in death on February 1, 1999. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law Stanley D. (Kathy) LeMaster, Flintstone, MD; J.D. (Beverly) LeMaster, Leesburg, OH; daughters and sons-in-law Yvonne (Bob) Tennant; and Judy (Dave) Reese, all of Chillicothe; 10 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Ruth (Bob) Compton, Columbus; brother Marvin Knox, Beaufort, NC; several nieces and nephews, including her special niece Nancy Morris; and her special feline companion, "Lou Lou." In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers Donald, Bernard, Monte, Charles Thomas, and Owen Knox; and sisters Marceline Miller and Esther Nelson. Carol had attended the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church. She had also worked as a hostess at the McDonald's Restaurant on E. Main St. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, July 2, in the HALLER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. David Titler officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8pm at Haller Funeral Home.
