Carl Ison

Carl Ison, 51, of Chillicothe, died at 8:55am Thursday October 18, 2007, in Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, October 23, in the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Lowery officiating assisted by Pastor Mark Justice and Lt. Robert Harmon. Military graveside services conducted by the Ross Co. Veteran Honor Guard will follow in Concord Church Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 5-8pm at Haller Funeral Home. Carl was born May 28, 1956, in Grayson, KY, to the late Dock J. and Myrtle Johnson Ison. Surviving are his brother and sister-in-law Clinton (Judy) Ison, Chillicothe; sister Marlene Davis, Chillicothe; sisters and brothers-in-law Hazel (Dave) Lambert, Deleplane, VA; and Gerri (Ronald) Oakes, Londonderry; 2 nieces; and 4 nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Donald Ison. Carl was a Firefighter and Paramedic for the City of Chillicothe serving since 1994. He served his country in the US Air Force from 1976 until 1982.
