Carl Coy

Carl A.Coy, 83, of Frankfort, OH, died unexpectedly Sunday, February 21, 2021.   He was born February 28, 1937 to the late Thomas D. and Lola P. Holdren Coy.  Survivors include his children, Thomas John Coy, Carla Kaye (Jerry) Copley, Kelly June (Todd) Krick, Diana L. Campbell, Sean A., Dean A, and Tracy A Coy; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 4 brothers, as well as the mother of his children, Nancy J. Chaney Coy in 2020. In the words of his granddaughter:  "My papal took care of me and my brother Nancy & Matt since we were 3 and 4. He always joked and said he took care of me when I was little so now we switched places. He loved Jesus! He always said that he was what people called a Jesus freak. He loved his great grandson Austin he meant the world to him. We all spent many summers sitting on the porch watching the little great grandkids Matthew and Easten play and we would sit and talk for hours. We all miss him till we see him again. He would go above and beyond for us all and loved with his whole heart."   Carl was a US Navy veteran and retired from Chilpaco.   Following cremation, private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
