Caridad Vega

Caridad Vega, who loved to be called "Mom" by her kids and "Yeye" by her grandchildren, departed her loving family May 28, 2022.

Caridad Vega was born in Detroit, Michigan, January 9, 1960 to the late Dolores Julia Mesa and Felix Ramon Vega.  Caridad Vega was mother to Alberto Lazaro Rabassa, Yasmila Lazara Morales, and Alfredo Andres Hernandez. She raised her children with love and devotion in Florida.

As a Waitress/ Homemaker, Caridad Vega was known for her fighting spirit, kind heart, open arms for anyone, and her love for her family. Her hobbies included dancing, cooking, watching murder mystery shows, and shopping. She was most proud of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her grandchildren Nicholas, Jasmine, Alberto Jr., and Carmela Rabassa, Noah and Gabriel Morales, and Elijah and Catherine Niedlinger, Xavier Lynch, and Julian Hernandez.

Aside from the children she doted on, Caridad Vega is survived by brothers Andre, Francisco, Raymond, and Alexander Vega. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Vega. She survived by her son-in-law Johaby Morales and daughter-in-law Tiffany Hernandez.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 until the time of the service.  Flowers can be purchased online at www.HallerFuneralHome.com in Caridad Vega's name, or from a Chillicothe florist.
