Calvin J. Porter Calvin J. Porter, 30, of Marietta, OK, died 8:15 pm, Monday, May 22, 2006, unexpectedly, in Oklahoma. He was born February 27, 1976 in Ross Co. to Timothy Pete Porter and Debra L. Yoe. Survivors include his daughter, Emma Grace Porter, of Texas; his mother, and her life partner, Paul Preston, of Chillicothe; his father, Timothy (Mary) Porter, of Chillicothe; a brother, Jeremiah Powell; and sisters, Tabitha (Joseph) Allagree and Tiffany Porter, all of Chillicothe; his maternal grandmother, Katherine Yoe; his paternal grandmother, Alice Porter; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Yoe; and his paternal grandfather, Tom Porter. Mr. Porter was a self employed carpenter and an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed camping, singing and playing guitar. However, the true love of his life was his daughter Emma Grace and his nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday in the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. J. C. Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort.
