Caleb Breckenridge

Caleb J. "Sonny" Breckenridge, Jr., 81, died at 7:32am August 4, 2014, at Valley View Care Center, Frankfort. He was born June 11, 1933, in Ross County, to the late Caleb J., Sr. and Grace Marie (Woodfork) Breckenridge. He is survived by his daughter Mary Burks, of Columbus; sons Rickie Breckenridge, of California; Caleb L. Breckenridge, of Chillicothe; Timothy Breckenridge, of Columbus; his sister Nancy Smith, of Columbus; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Maria Roxanne; sisters Betty Perkins, Dorothy Williams, Shirley Jones and Elsie Harris; and his former wife Helen (Tyler) Breckenridge. Sonny retired from Ross County where he worked on the county road crew. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, August 8, at the Haller Funeral Home with Dorothy Garnes and Pastor Obadiah Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 11am until 1pm at Haller's.
