C. Regina Newland

C. Regina Newland, 77, of Chillicothe, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 4, 2025. She was born on February 22, 1948, in Ross County to Reginald and LaVerne (Rhoads) Crusie. On September 20, 1969, Regina and Glenn Newland were married.
Regina is survived by her husband of 55 years, Pastor Glenn Newland, children, Dawn (Scott) Notestone and Deric (Regina) Newland, grandchildren, Maizie (Lyle) Watters, Montana (Brayden Harris) Hager, Maille Hager, Maddox Hager, Mikayla (Pat Quinn) Newland, and Bryce (Maggie Sons) Newland, Great-grandchildren, Elliott "Ellie" Watters, and Eden Watters, sisters, Marcia (Keith) Huffman, and Kay (Dean) Rinehart, and special friends, Henry Meadows, and Harvey (Marla) Bales. She will also be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Regina is predeceased by her parents.
After graduating from High School, she spent 5 years working at the VA Medical Center. Once she started having a family, she spent time doing the things that she loved. She loved spending time with family, taking care of her grandchildren, baking, and spending time at Maple Grove Christian Union Church, where she was a member and attended as long as her health permitted.
Regina was a kind and loving person who always saw the good in everyone. She was a good Christian woman who truly loved God even though she had many health issues, she never gave up. Even her doctor said she was a perfect patient.
A Funeral Service for Regina will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Maple Grove CU Church, 1054 Maple Grove Road, Chillicothe at 1:00 pm followed by burial at Twin Township Cemetery. Friends will be received from 11:00am to 1:00 pm.
