C Jones

CJ Jones, 18, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly February 19, 2022.   He was born June 9, 2003, in Portsmouth, OH, and had attended Huntington High School.   He is survived by his father and step-mother Chad and Sonya Jones; his mother Regina M. Thomas; brothers Bryce and Collin Jones; his fiancée Alara Bray; his maternal grandmother Jean Thomas; paternal grandfather Chester Jones, all of Chillicothe; his paternal grandmother Patricia Jones, of Bucyrus, OH; step-brothers Gabriel and Samuel Miller, both of Chillicothe; his aunt Elizabeth Jones; several cousins and numerous friends.  He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Robert "Bob" Thomas; and his uncle Patrick Thomas.   Anyone who knew CJ would agree that he was larger than life.  CJ had the absolute kindest soul and was tough as nails.  He was the caretaker and protector of everyone he loved.  CJ was the most beautiful human being inside and out.  He had big ideas and even bigger dreams for his future and his family.  Nothing meant more to CJ than his family.  CJ loved fast cars, muscle cars, European cars… anything flashy and expensive, just like him.  CJ was simply amazing and taken way too soon.  We will all be anxiously awaiting our reunion.   His funeral will be held at 11am Saturday, February 26, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.  Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
