Burnell Fletcher

Burnell B. Fletcher Burnell B. Fletcher, 87, of Chillicothe, died 9:15 pm, November 8, 2005 in his granddaughters home, following an extended illness. He was born October 6, 1918 in Chillicothe to William and Grace Kessler Fletcher. On October 6, 1942 he married Madeleine A. Dougherty, who survives. Also surviving are his two sons Mike (Diana) and Pat Fletcher, both of Chillicothe; three granddaughters, Cindy (Richard) Boreland, of Chillicothe, Elizabeth (Chris) Guibord of Cincinnati, OH, and Colleen Fletcher, of Boston, MA; two step-grandsons, Brent Barrows of Chillicothe, and Heath Barrows of Florida; 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Nora Kay and a half-sister Joanne Huff. Mr. Fletcher was a World War II Army veteran, had retired from the Mead Corporation, and was an avid fisherman. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:30 pm Friday, Rev. James Black Celebrant. Calling hours will not be observed. Arrangements are under the direction of the Haller Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, of Porstmouth.
