Buford Tanner
December 7, 1944 — April 26, 2019
Buford E. Tanner, peacefully fell asleep at Mt. Carmel East Hospital on Friday, April 26, 2019 after visiting with immediate family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Loretha Tanner, his siblings, Blanche, Bonadean, Dorsey, and Herman.
Left to mourn are his siblings, Delbert (Judy), Hartsel (Donna), Robert (Nancy), Janet, and LeeAnn; his adopted daughter, Susan (Matt); grandkids, Cheyenne, Abby, Christian, and Presley; and special friends, Jackie and Angela.
Although Buford had no biological children, he was always there to love, support and assist with his many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at Caldwell Cemetery in Chillicothe, Ohio for the immediate family.
"Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; four thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." – Psalm 23:4
