Brooks Davison

Brooks Hayden Davison, 41, of Kingston, passed away unexpectedly on February 7, 2016, at his home. He was born on November 6, 1974, in Gallipolis, Ohio, to Gregory Lance and Patricia Gale (Dobbins) Davison. On September 8, 2001, he married Dawn R. (McFarland) Davison, who survives. Also surviving are their children, Kyndal, Eian, and Adleigh Davison; his siblings, Lance (Loretta Caldwell) Davison, Jillian (Chuck Phillips, Jr.) Davison, and Ebony (Adam) Mount, all of Bidwell, OH; his father, Gary Groves; his maternal grandmother, Frances Dobbins, of Bidwell; paternal grandmother, Harriet Davison, of Patriot, OH; his mother-in-law, Sheryl Delger, of China; his aunt and uncle, Danny (Monica) Dobbins, of Bidwell; a close cousin and friend, Karena (Travis) Roberts, of Cheshire, OH; four cousins, Jennifer (Doug) Rees, of Bidwell, Janelle (Justin) Dale, Lacey (Seth) Lucas, of WV, and Megan Dobbins, of WV; a brother-in-law, Michael (Tamela) McFarland, of Waverly; a sister-in-law, Erika (Richard) Lowe, of Chillicothe; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Brooks was preceded in death by his grandpa, Joe Dobbins, Jr., his father-in-law, Allen "Neal" McFarland, two uncles, Leonard and Phillip Dobbins, and a cousin, Jeremy Dobbins. Brooks formerly worked as a certified computer specialist. He enjoyed gardening, cooking new and interesting dishes for his family, and loved music. But most of all, he loved his family and children. A funeral service will be held at 4:00pm on Sunday, February 14, at the Haller Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3:00pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dawn Davison memorial fund at the Woodforest National Bank, 85 River Trace Lane, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
