Brian Bethel

Brian A. "Tank" Bethel, 69, of Londonderry, died July 28, 2022, at his residence following an extended illness.   He was born February 21, 1953, in Ross County to the late Gerald V. and Marie (Cain) Bethel.  On October 24, 1989, he married Sherida Robertson, who survives.   Also surviving are his step-children: Tony (Angie) Garrison, of Kansas City, MO; and Christa (Cory) Romaniuk, of Flagler, FL; step-grandchildren: Lauren Garrison of Kansas City, MO, and Justin Wilson, of Chillicothe; and his brother Bart Bethel and his wife, of Chillicothe.    Tank was always a construction worker and had also worked for Kitchen Collection.  Due to his many years of umpiring at Mary Lou Patton Park, he earned the additional nickname "Blue."  Tank was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved to throw darts.  He especially enjoyed fishing and hunting with his grandson Justin.  Tank could often be found at Taylor's in a dart tournament, or just hanging with his friends.   The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-7pm at Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
