Brenda Joy (Bennick) Rahe, 79, of Chillicothe, passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 13, 2020, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital, following an extended illness.
She was born August 29, 1940 in Thomasville, NC to the late Harry and Josephine (Nails) Bennett. On May 24, 2006, she married Villem Rahe, and together they shared 10 years of marriage before his passing July 11, 2016.
Surviving are her step-children, Kristi (Randall) Walker, Helle Brand, Arvo (Kim) Rahe, Peter Rahe, Kristjan (Diana) Rahe, and Tiina (Thomas) Ruffing; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Brenda enjoyed spending time outside in her garden, decorating her house, solving word searches, and southern cooking.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public calling hours. A graveside service at Grandview Cemetery will take place at a future date.
