Bradley Allen Woods, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2025, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. Brad was born April 8, 1974, to Willard K. Woods (who survives) and Trudy J. (May) Woods.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle Woods, and his daughter, Maddox. He is also survived by his brother and best friend, Kelly (Teresa) Woods, and numerous cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The light of Brad's life is his daughter Maddox. His pride in her achievements and support was evident in his daily Miami University attire, from head to toe, attending every game where Maddy would perform with the marching band, his camera in hand. He enjoyed attending concerts with family and friends, loved shows about Bigfoot, and looked forward to watching Good Mythical Morning every day with Maddox. Brad had a way of making everyone feel like a lifelong friend, and he truly never met a stranger. He was an extremely hard worker, having recently completed 20 years at the Chillicothe Paper Mill, where he leaves behind numerous friends and colleagues. Upon the closure of the paper mill, Brad had accepted a position at Adena Health Systems as a Building Control Operator.
He was an active member of Zion Baptist Church. Not only did he grow in his faith, but through him, Maddox and Michelle also found the love of Jesus Christ. He loved to be a blessing to others.
Family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of Brad's life at Zion Baptist Church, located at 84 S. Clinton Rd, on Thursday, October 9th, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memories and stories be shared to honor his life and the impact he made on so many. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he so freely gave.
Following the service, everyone is welcome to join the family for refreshments and fellowship in the church hall located at 536 Mill St., Chillicothe, OH 45601. This will be an opportunity to share memories, offer support, and celebrate Brad's life together in the spirit he so dearly loved.
