Bradley Roger DePoy, 40, of Chillicothe departed his earthly life on December 14, 2014. He was born February 2, 1974 to C. Roger and Dixie Lee (Dewey) DePoy. He leaves behind his daughter, Ellie, who was the center of his life; his parents; his sister, Cathi Coy; his brother, Kevin DePoy and Kevin's fiancée, Sabrina Mick; his nephew Colton Coy; nieces, Casi and Cara Coy, Breylee DePoy and Alyssa and Ady Wisecup; aunts, Ginger (Richard) Breitenbach, Pam Clemmons, Jackie (Bruce) Binenfeld; Uncles, John (Dawn) DePoy and David (Noreen) White; a special friend and companion, Tina Brown, and many, many friends and fraternity brothers. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles L. and Mary DePoy, and Wayne and Fava White. Brad was an intelligent, kind, witty person and will be missed by all who knew him. He was a 1992 graduate of Unioto High School, where he was a member of the football team. He continued his education at the University of Rio Grande, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. While at Rio Grande Brad was a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity (member #314) and remained active with the fraternity until the time of his passing. Upon graduation Brad worked at the Adena Health System, followed by a career at American Medical Consulting (AMC), then at The James Cancer Center, at the Ohio State University. He was a loving son, father, brother, and uncle and had a strong belief in God. Brad was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, biking and kayaking. He loved to share any and all outdoor experiences with his daughter, and enjoyed teaching her about nature. He enjoyed meeting new people and keeping connected with old friends. Brad was passionate about anything he was involved in and embraced life experiences. He was a passionate fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at the Haller Funeral Home, Pastor John Carson officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 pm Friday at Haller's, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the trust established for his daughter, at any Huntington National Bank branch.
