Bradford W. Summers Bradford W. Summers, 53, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly at 10:31am Thursday March 6, 2008, in the Decatur County Medical Center, Greensburg, IN. In honoring Brad's wishes, a graveside funeral services will be held 3:30 pm Monday in St. Margaret Cemetery. A last call will be held immediately following at "The Dock At Water." DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS, BRAD'S CALLING HOURS ARE 5-8 pm Sunday, in the Haller Funeral Home, where an Elk's Memorial Service will be held at 8:00 pm. Brad was born March 3, 1955, in Chillicothe to John and Gloria (Schoelles) Summers, Jr. On May 1, 1992, he married the former Jeaneen G. Spivey, who survives. Also surviving are his parents, John and Gloria Summers, Jr., Chillicothe; daughters Meghan Woods and her fiancée Jake McNichols; Amanda (Barry) Chenault, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren Caleb Woods and Caidyn McCann; a brother and sister-in-law Creston (Judy) Summers; a sister and brother-in-law Lesley (Stan) Shope, all of Chillicothe; his mother-in-law Catherine Spivey, of Tabor City, NC; brother-in-law Daniel (Denise) Spivey, Sumter, SC; sisters-in-law Julie (Larry) Hardie; and Sara Spivey, all of Tabor City, NC; nieces and nephews: Nicole Ramsey, Colton Shope, Collin Shope, all of Chillicothe; Tamica Katzman, Wilmington, NC; Breanne and Juston Williams, Sumter, SC and Clayton, UT; Benji Hardie, Katie Hardie, Johnathan Ray, and Josh Rabon, all of Tabor City, NC; and a very dear aunt and uncle, Mona and Hank Ryan, Dover, OH; many close cousins; and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his father-in-law Claud Spivey. Brad was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1973. He worked as an electrician for Total Maintenance Services. He was a member of the Elks, B.P.O.E. Lodge 52. He enjoyed golfing, NASCAR and fishing. Brad will be very missed by his wife, family and friends, especially his "Dude" Caleb and his "Miss Priss", Caidyn.
