Bonnie Jo (Speakman) Samuel, 82, of Chillicothe, passed away early Tuesday morning, September 28, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family following a brief battle with cancer.
She was born December 16, 1938 in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late Forest Carl and Mirla Beatrice (Hupp) Speakman.
Surviving are her four children, Tracey (Richard) Annon, Natalie Turpen, Bill (Cathy) Turpen, and Joylyn (Bryan) Ferryman; four grandchildren, Bridget Turpen, Jacqui Turpen, Luke Ferryman, and Anna Ferryman; five step-grandchildren, Vicky Ferryman, Lisa Shaw, Dean Annon, Keith Allen, and Morgan Maynor; 11 great-grandchildren; and her life long friend, Jo Tinker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Herman Speakman, and her sister, Rev. C. Jeannine Mowery.
Bonnie enjoyed being outdoors in her yard, and especially loved tending to her flower garden.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
