Bonnie Russell

May 15, 1961 — May 4, 2014

Bonnie Jo Russell, 52, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord while surrounded by her family at 10:17am, May 4, 2014, following a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born May 15, 1961, in Chillicothe, to David A. and Shelva J. (Diehl) Ramey, who survive.   Also surviving is her husband of nearly 32 years, Terry L. Russell; their children and spouses Amy (James) Turner, Aberdeen, OH; and Terry "Andy" (Andrea) Russell, Columbus, OH; her granddaughter Paisleigh Turner; sisters and brothers-in-law Vickie (Jim) Robertson; and Tammie (Dale) Howard, all of Chillicothe; brothers-in-law Mike (Linda) Russell and Dave (Christy) Russell, all of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Harmon and Bonnie Jobe; her paternal grandparents Jesse and Grace Ramey; and her in-laws Roy and Lola Russell.   Bonnie was a graduate of Unioto High School, Class of 1979.  She later earned her Registered Nurse degree from Hocking College and was employed with Pike Medical and Dr. Madsen's office.  She was a member of First Church of God where she was active with the WCG (Women of Church of God), volunteered in the soup kitchen, as a Sunday school teacher and with VBS.   Funeral services will be held at ­­­­­­­­­­­­10:30am Wednesday, May 7, at the First Church of God, 780 E. Water St., with Rev. Matt Roe officiating.  Burial will follow in Browns Chapel Cemetery.  Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8pm at Haller Funeral Home.   Memorial contributions may be made to either the First Church of God- Building Fund, PO Box 83., Chillicothe, OH 45601; or to Ohio State University James Cancer Center via The James Development Office, 660 Ackerman Road, P.O.
