H. Bonadine "Bonnie" Bonner Oyer Mix Bonnie was born on May 4, 1918, in Chillicothe, OH to the late Lawrence and Elsie Farnham Bonner. She was predeceased by her first husband, Frank Eldon Oyer in 1942 and her second husband Alhassen Mix in 1994. She was also predeceased by siblings Gladys Everett, Nellie Bales Blakenship, James Bonner, Howard Bonner and M. Charmaine Lott. She is survived by her sister, June Taylor, of Columbus. Also surviving are her children: Janean Oyer Langham, of Holt, MI; Kenneth Oyer, of Omaha, NE; Linda Mix Beaver, of Chillicothe; and Kristy Mix (William) Beyer, of Blacklick, OH; grandchildren: Bonnie Ellsworth Clothier (Randy Schalow), of Holt, MI; Timothy Ellsworth, of Lansing, MI; Scott Ellsworth (Lori Schafer), of DeWitt, MI; Matthew Ellsworth (Linda Fortner), of Destin, FL; Alissa Ellsworth, of Lansing, MI; Nicolas (Christina) Oyer, of Houston, TX; Susan Oyer, Cotati, CA; Kenneth (Danica) Oyer, of Colorado Springs, CO; Stacy Walters, of Houston, TX; Peggy (John) Kelley, of St. Paul, MN; Anthony (Tammy) Eallonardo, of Chillicothe; Brent (Julie) Beaver, Chillicothe; Erin (Jon) Canter, of Grove City, OH; Griffin (Stephanie) Beyer, of New Albany, OH; Chloe (Matt) Hurrell, of Gahanna, OH; as well as 34 great-grandchildren; 34 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Bonnie is also survived by special friends Bob Cutright, Jr. and Bill and Karen McAdams, of Chillicothe. Bonnie had been employed by Hardin Realtors and retired from the Chillicothe City Auditor's Office in 1982. She was a member of the Ohio State Mothers' Club, the OSU Alpha Phi Mothers' Club and the Christian Life Tabernacle Joy Belles. Bonnie also was an avid reader, known and loved by the Chillicothe-Ross County Library staff. She was a wonderful party planner and loved music. Her family was extremely important to her and she was very generous and giving with her time and resources. Bonnie's life was forever changed in 1951 when she was baptized in Jesus' Name and filled with the Holy Ghost. She dedicated her life to serving God and her love of Christ was evident in her daily walk with Him. She read her Bible faithfully and could always be called upon to pray for others. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Schaefer Rehab Center of Traditions for their care and support. Bonnie was a founding member of Christian Life Tabernacle, 3017 Egypt Pike, where her funeral service will be held at Noon, Saturday, March 21, with Pastor Phillip Rutherford officiating. A private burial for the family will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 10am until Noon at the church.
