Bonadean Davis

Bonadean L. Davis, 77, of Chillicothe, died 6:10 am, September 11, 2013, at the Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born May 10, 1936 in Jackson Co. to the late George E. and Dovie L. Mayle Tanner. Survivors include two sisters, Janet Cosby and LeeAnn (Robert) Ruck; four brothers, Hartsel (Donna), Delbert (Judy), Robert (Nancy) and Buford Tanner; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Holly Keel; and a special friend, Louis Webb. She was preceded in death by a sister, Blanche Stroud and three brothers, Jonas, Herman, and Dorsey Tanner. Bonadean retired from the Martin Marietta Atomic plant and was a member of the United Community Baptist Church, Richmond Dale. Following her retirement, she managed the Arch Elm Apartments for 10 years. She loved to shop and was an avid traveler. Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm Saturday at the HALLER FUNERAL HOME, Rev. Roger Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Caldwell Cemetery. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service on Saturday at Haller's. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
