Bobby Green

Bobby M. Green, 87, of Chillicothe, died 9:07 pm, Friday, July 9, 2010, at his home. He was born August 26, 1922 in Alliance, OH to Jessie and Anna P. Strouth Green. On June 29, 1984 he married Lillian L. Scott, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Valerie (John) Hatton, of Frankfort, Richard (Kelly) Green, of Pensacola, FL, Roderick (Cathie) and Duane (Donna) Green, both of Lancaster, OH; 2 step children, Tawanna Neuner and Ronald Johnson; 6 grandchildren, Erica, Drew and Dan Hatton, Josh Green, Jill Moore, and Anthony Green; 4 great grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Wise, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers, Jesse, Glen, Donald and Gene. Mr. Green was a World War II Army Veteran. He retired from Rockwell International as an aviation technician. He was a member of the American Legion Post 471. He enjoyed working in his flower garden and dearly loved music. He was skilled with many instruments, most especially the guitar. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home. Military graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard, will follow in Floral Hills Memory Garden. Friends may call 5-8 pm Monday at Haller's.
