Bobbie Metzger

Bobbie Jean Metzger, 80, of Chillicothe, died 11:15 am, Monday, November 3, 2014, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, unexpectedly. She was born August 1, 1934 in Columbus, OH. On October 9, 1971 she married Frank James, of Chillicothe, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Dino Melfi, of Long Beach, CA and Cory (Razelle) Metzger, of Las Vegas, NV; a step-daughter, Susan (Robert) Blakeman, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Justin Metzger, Cassandra Metzger, Ellezar James Matilla, and Charles R., Robert C. and Sawyer J. Blakeman; and one great-grandchild, Brooks Blakeman. She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Melfi. Mrs. Metzger retired after 35 years with the State Farm Insurance Company. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
