Bobbie Chatfield

Bobbie L. Chatfield Bobbie L. Chatfield, 80, of Chillicothe, died 10:45 am, Sunday, March 08, 2009, in Traditions of Chillicothe, unexpectedly. He was born June 28, 1928 in Hanging Rock, OH to Hugh W. and Gertrude Marshall Chatfield. On June 9, 1951 he married Rosemary Ridgeway, who died September 19, 1993. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Ronda (Jack) Murnahan, of Circleville; granddaughter and grandson-in-law Becky (Jim) Henderson, of Chillicothe; a great-granddaughter, Caitlin Henderson; sister and brother-in-law, Linda (Don) Long, of Springfield; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil (Margaret) Chatfield, of New Carlisle, OH; and a brother, Larry Chatfield, of Marion, OH. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Mr. Chatfield was a retired Postmaster with the US Postal Service and had retired after 15 years of service from the Circleville WalMart. He was a US Air Force Veteran, and a member of Calvary Apostolic Church, where he was very active as a deacon and a Sunday school teacher. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday in the Haller Funeral Home, with J.E. Henderson, E.L. Heskett, and W.A. Pellum officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Tuesday at Haller's.
