Bobbi Lynn Hammond, 62, of Waverly, passed away unexpectedly early Saturday morning, April 9, 2022 following an extended illness.
She was born May 23, 1959 in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of Robert Hughes and Tamorita (Gibson) Hudnell. She went on to marry her husband, Thomas Edward Hammond, and together they shared over 42 years of marriage.
In addition to her mother and husband, surviving are three children, Angela Marie (Kenneth) Hart, Thomas Edward (Katherine) Hammond, Jr., and Amy Lynn (Lucas) Shoemaker; grandchildren, Mariah Miller, Skylar Hammond, Jaxson Hammond, and Mason Broughton; siblings, Rita (Tony) Davis, Michelle Black, Clarence (Theresa) Withrow, Jr., Gina Davis, Robert L. (Debbie) Hughes, Elizabeth (Harold) Sheets, and Peggy Hughes; her beloved cat, Lucy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was predeceased by her father, Robert, her grandmother, Evelyn Gibson, and her sister Delores Jaylene Withrow.
Bobbi's greatest joy in life was her family. She and her husband Tom enjoyed taking rides together, and they loved taking trips down to the beach for family vacations. Her children and grandchildren were her world, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In accordance with her wishes, a memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
