Billy Mitchell

Bill Mitchell, 65 of Bourneville, Ohio passed away August 18, 2017 at home, surrounded by his loving family.   He was born February 11, 1952 in Chillicothe, OH, the son of Virgil and Lucille Chaney Mitchell.  On June 27, 1969 he married Bonnie Shoemaker, who survives.  He is also survived by 3 sons; Billy (Julie) Mitchell, Joe (Sonya) Mitchell and Mark (Rachel) Mitchell; 9 grandchildren; Miranda, Willy, Mattie, Liam, Lilly, Emily, Ashley, Bailey and Autumn; sister Cathy (Rick) McElwee; mother-in-law Marjorie Shoemaker; sisters-in-law Robin (Kenny) Miller and Kim (Mike) Penrod; an uncle, who was more like a brother, Rusty Gragg; a special cousin, Bonnie Richardson and many special friends. In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his father-in-law, Charlie Shoemaker. Bill retired from the Mead Paper Company.  He loved his family, bluegrass music, fishing and picking his dobro.  He was a talented musician, a born again Christian and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
