Billie Trego

Billie L. Trego, 81, of Chillicothe, died March 4, 2014, at the Lee Memorial Health Center, Ft. Myers, FL, following a brief illness. She was born March 17, 1932 in Wellston, OH to the late Virgil and Hazel Yates Fair. On September 2, 2005 she married Lloyd D. Trego, who survives. Also surviving is her daughter and sons-in-law, Debra (Skip) Long, of Chillicothe; Carl Flint, of Bainbridge; a step-son, Michael (Regina) Trego, Columbus; 3 grandchildren, Tony (Marrianne) Long; Christina Long; and Heather (Bryan) Collins; step-grandchildren, Loren and Nicholas Trego; great-grandchildren Lexi Collins, Breanna Long and Devin Schauer; a great-great-grandson Nathaniel Velazquez; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Donald Poling and Paul Dyer; her daughter Karen Flint; and her grandson Nicholas Flint. Mrs. Trego was a retired claims examiner with the Sentry Insurance Company. She was a member of Brookside Church and the Chillicothe Evening Lioness Club and volunteered for the Adena Health System and the Brookside Food Pantry. Funeral services will be held 11:30 am Monday at the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery, Wellston. Friends may call 2-5 pm Sunday at Haller's.
