Beverly Ann Williams, 74, died at 7:35pm March 18, 2018, at National Church Residences (Traditions). She was born May 4, 1943, in Detroit, MI, to the late Joseph and Emma (Hanks) Stevenson. She then moved to Youngstown, OH, where she was raised and lived. Surviving are her son Tairan (Nellie) Simmons, of Chillicothe; grandchildren: Nijerous, Tairan, Jr., Naomi, and Naimah Simmons; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Watt Bowie; and a sister Elsie Simmons. Mrs. Williams retired from the Mahoning County Juvenile Detention Center where she worked as a cook. She was a former member of the Church of Deliverance and was an avid bingo player and enjoyed all types of gambling and games of chance. Funeral services will held at 1pm Wednesday, March 28, at the Church of Deliverance with Pastor Jeremy Beverly officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 11am until 1pm at the church.
