Beverly Letts

Beverly E. Letts, 84, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 27, 2016, at the Heartland Nursing Home. She was born December 1, 1931, to the late David R. "Roy" and Naomi E. "Sis" (Brown) Morris. On June 21, 1954, she married Howard Letts, Jr., who died August 23. 2012. Surviving is her daughter, Susan (Ron) Newland, of Chillicothe; granddaughters, Ashley (TJ) Lynch, of Clarksburg, and Elizabeth (John) Gentil, of Canal Winchester; 3 great-grandchildren, Dylan Lynch, and Keegan and Maverick Gentil; as well as 2 brothers, Robert Morris, of Clarksburg, and David Morris, of Hollywood, FL. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Steinhausser. Beverly worked as a nurse's aide at Adena Hospital for 36 years before retiring in 1992. It was there that she met her lifelong friend, Mary Alice Sims, whom she loved dearly. Beverly also had a very special cousin, Bea Madden, who visited her often. She also had many cousins, nieces, and nephews who were very special to her. Beverly will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Heartland Hospice for all of their care. A graveside service will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Brown's Chapel Cemetery in Deerfield Township with Chaplin JD Stevens officiating. In accordance with her wishes, calling hours will not be observed.
