Beverly Knox

Beverly L. Knox, 73, of Waverly, formerly of Chillicothe, died at 3:35pm Monday, October 28, 2013, at Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. She was born September 12, 1940, in Circleville, to the late Herman J. and Bertha L. (Doering) Hardesty. On August 11, 1963, she married Monte L. Knox, Sr., who preceded her in death on December 22, 2004. Surviving are her children: Stacy (Robert) Conley, of Waverly; Keith (Debbie) Knox; and Monte L. "Jake" Knox, Jr., all of Chillicothe; grandchildren: Brittany, Dustin and Brayden Knox; Zachery and Casey Knox; Jacob (Amber) Conley; Danielle (Brandon) Alexander; and great-grandchildren: Sandra and Ashlynn Alexander; and Brandon Trego. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister Marilyn. Bev was a volunteer Firefighter and EMT with Union Township for over 20 years. She was also a member of the SALT Council and the Ross Co. Senior Citizens. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, November 2, at the HALLER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Bruce Viar officiating. Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6-8pm at Haller Funeral Home.
