Beverly Hurst

Beverly Ann "Susie" Hurst, 70, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly in her home Wednesday, May 27, 2009. She was born May 14, 1939, in Chillicothe to the late Maynard Warner and Phyllis Marie Edinger Hurst. Surviving are her daughters Cynthia Bair, of Chillicothe; and Peggy Bair, of San Diego, CA; a grandson Jesse (Andrea) Snyder, of Akron; 3 great-grandchildren: Olivia, Madelyn and William Snyder; a brother Jerry Hurst, of Chillicothe; sisters and brothers-in-law Becky (Bill) Purpero, Piketon; and Jacky (Roger) O'Dell, Leesburg; and many nieces and nephews. Susie was a graduate of Catholic Central, Class of 1957. However, she attended Unioto Schools for 11 years. Susie worked in medical records for 15 years for the Chillicothe Hospital and Adena Health System. She enjoyed giving her time to disabled veterans. Susie loved her family dearly; they were her happiness and joy. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00pm Thursday, June 4, in the Haller Funeral Home with Minister Gary Pack officiating. Private graveside services will be held in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7pm Thursday at Haller Funeral Home.
