Betty Walls

Betty L. Walls, 80, of Chillicothe, died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Westmoreland Place Nursing Home. She was born May 24, 1936 in Pikeville, KY to the late Creed and Pebble Bartley Hawkins. Survivors include 4 children, Debra (Richard) Yount, Las Vegas, NV, Danny Coleman, Chillicothe, Duane (Angie) Walls, Grove City, Donna (Bryan) Porter, Chillicothe; 6 grandchildren, Heather (Chris) Hilgemeier, Shawn (Shauntelle) Yount, Ryan Lovely, Stephen Walls, Jordan (Liz) Walls and Jenna Porter; 5 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Olive White and Wanda (Dwight) Rediger, both of Georgia. She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers. Betty loved gardening and working with kids. She was a foster-grandparent and enjoyed tutoring. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 pm Tuesday at Haller's.
