Betty R. Uhrig, 73, of Chillicothe, died December 30, 2022, at the Adena Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 26, 1949 in Ross Co. to the late Charles and Ruby Daugherty Uhrig. Survivors include a sister, Shirley (Bob) Mankin; a niece, Nicole (Scott Jr.) Freeland; great-nephews, Grayson and Garrett; her companion and caregiver, Jim Huffer Jr., all of Chillicothe; and an aunt, Linda Daugherty.
Betty worked for Kmart 19 years, and then Walmart for 6 years as a department manager. She loved watching sports and was an avid bowler. She was a 25-year member of Chillicothe Baptist Church and a 30-year member of Brookside Church, and a member of the Brookside Seniors Group.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, Pastor Ralph Hux officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call 1hour prior to the service at Haller's on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Brookside Church, or the Brookside Boundless Campaign, at 2215 Egypt Pike, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
