Betty Meeker

Betty Jane Meeker, 68, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly February 15, 2022, at her home.

She was born June 10, 1953 in Chillicothe to the late Omer and Lillian Lewis Burton.  On February 8, 1970 she married Michael Meeker, who survives.  Also surviving are two sons, Kent Meeker, Winston-Salem, NC and Hank (Autumn) Meeker, Anderson, IN; three siblings, Shirley Hoselton, Diana Burton, and Clyde (Jenny) Burton, all of Chillicothe; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by eight siblings, Kurt, Bill and Mike Burton, Geneva Gray, Lexie Olson, Dixie Terry, Ruth George and Kay Detty-McGuire.

Jane loved quilting, bird watching, and watching classic murder mystery television shows.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Sunday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, Steve Hency officiating.  Burial will follow in Concord Church Cemetery.  Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service on Sunday at Haller's.
