Betty Kunkel

Betty Jane Kunkel, 71, of Bainbridge, died Friday, August 3, 2007, at her home following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Monday, August 6, 2007, at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Haller Funeral Home. Betty was born July 30, 1936, in Columbus, OH, to the late Ernest and Mary Jane Hess Siders. In 1953, she married Paul E. Kunkel, who preceded her in death in 1995. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Sharon E. (Chester) Evans, Bainbridge; sons and daughters-in-law Paul Richard "Rick" (Reila) Kunkel, Maxie, VA; and Charles D. (Corinna) Kunkel, Clarksburg, OH; grandchildren Eli Kunkel, Ethan Kunkel, Riley Hager, Teresa Nance, April Nance, Lori Nance, Kenny Nance, Dale Nance, and Phil Nance; 5 great-grandchildren; and a brother Eugene Siders, Zanesville, OH. She was predeceased by a brother Charles Siders and her step-father Wilson Whaley. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the family.
