Betty Lou Hosler, 81, of Chillicothe, died at 9:30am Friday, July 8, 2005, in Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born January 27, 1924, in Leavenworth, KS, to the late Leonard P. and Helen C. (Simanowitz) Robinson. On January 14, 1943, she married Edward David Hosler, who preceded her in death. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law Cecelia (Hubert) Davis, Chillicothe; Ricki (Kim) Chenault, of Lancaster; and Mary Ann (Terry) Bowers, of Westerville; son and daughter-in-law Mike (Tab) Hosler, of Florida; son Douglas Hosler, Chillicothe; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law Ruth (Frank) Sullivan, Missouri; Patty (Bob) Myers, Washington; sisters Alice Gonzales, Nebraska; and Bobbi Wacker, Leavenworth, KS; brothers and sisters-in-law James (Dee) Robinson, Arizona; Leonard (Doris) Robinson, Leavenworth, KS; and Mike (Marcia) Robinson, of Topeka, KS. Betty was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00am Tuesday, July 12, Rev. Lawrence Hummer, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Garden. Calling hours will not be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 138 Marietta Rd., Suite D, Chillicothe.
