Betty Gilmore

Betty Eileene Gilmore, 72, of Chillicothe, died in her home July 31, 2006, following an extended illness. She was born September 30, 1933, in Ross Co. to the late James and Leo Hall Carroll. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Peggy (Jordan) and Jay Shoemaker, Chillicothe; grandsons Jansen Litter and Colton Shoemaker; and sisters Mildred Shoemaker and Evelyn Dye. She was predeceased by a sister Maxine Rhinehart and a brother Eugene Dilly. At her request, private services will be held at the convenience of the family under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Assoc., 1100 Dennison Ave., Columbus, OH 43201.
