Betty McLean Dodrill Betty McLean Dodrill, 89, died Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 11:15 am in her home in Chillicothe, OH. She was born August 26, 1917 to Thomas and Pauline Greenbaum McLean. She was a graduate of Waverly High School and attended Miami University, Oxford, OH. She was the owner of Douglass Pontiac and Gulf Station in Waverly. For many of her working years she was an office manager in the automotive industry in Columbus. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane (Sam) Carnes; two granddaughters, Beth (Joseph) Motes and Nancy (Stan) Clark; three great granddaughters, Alicia (Brad) Hanners, Micah Motes, and Jordan Clark; 2 great-great grandsons, Austin and Luke Hanners. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Arden Dodrill. She was an avid Chillicothe Paints fan and was loved by many of the players who all called her Boo (a family nickname given to her by her granddaughter, Beth). She delighted in going to games and loved to feed the many players that were hosted by her and her daughter, Diane. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 3, 2007, in the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Eric VanBuskirk officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Waverly, OH.
