Betty J. Dennewitz Betty J. (Robinson) Dennewitz, 80, passed from this life into Heaven on January 25, 2009, at Westmoreland Place. Cremation services will be provided by Haller Funeral Home and a memorial service will be held at the discretion of the family. She was born October 26, 1928 in Chillicothe to the late Herbert and Kathryn Wickensheimer Robinson. On May 15, 1949 she married Alonzo C. Dennewitz, wh preceded her in death July 3, 2001. Survivors include 3 children, Rebecca Borland and Beverly K. Davis, of Chillicothe and Thomas Dennewitz of Columbus; grandchildren, Jo (Milo) Heath, Chip (Monica) Campbell, Renee Borland, Bryan (Michelle) Borland and Brad Borland; ten great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Robinson; and many "adopted children" at Westmoreland Place, (Mom loved you all). She was preceded in death by two infant sisters and one brother, Thomas Robinson. Betty was a homemaker, Past Chaplain of American Legion Post 62 Ladies Auxillary, a member of American Legion Post 757, a member of the VFW, and the Huntington Twp. Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She loved music and people. She will be missed. Memorial contributions may be made to Westmoreland Place Activites, c/o Sabrina Newland, 230 Cherry St., or Adena Health Foundation, Friends of Hospice, 111 W. Water St. in Betty's name.
