Betty Cooper Betty Dawson Cooper, 81, of Chillicothe, died 9:05 am Sunday, July 31, 2005 in Westmoreland Place Nursing Home, following an extended illness. She was born February 5, 1924 in Columbus to Jack and Mary Ritzer Cooper. Survivors include a sister, Freida Macrander, of Springfield, OH; a brother, Donald Dawson, of Columbus,OH; several nieces and nephews, Theresa, Terry, Tina, and Tom Plappert, Tamy Riber, and Carolyn Proehl; great nieces and nephews, Christina and Jennifer Plappert and Rueben Finlay. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Cooper. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday in the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
