Betty Clarke

Betty Kathleen Clarke, 82, of Dayton, formerly of Chillicothe, died 4:40 pm, January 30, 2015, at Brookdale Senior Living, Dayton, following a brief illness. She was born April 21, 1932 in Chillicothe. On November 22, 1953 she married the late Joseph Russell Clarke, who preceded her in death January 31, 2008. Survivors include her two sons, Steven (Terri) Clarke, Beaver Creek, OH and J. Quinn (Katherine) Clarke, Hilliard, OH; a granddaughter; and three grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers. Mrs. Clarke was an avid reader and coin collector. She also enjoyed antiquing. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, until she moved to Dayton. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, February 12, 2015, at the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Kurt King officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Haller's.
