Betty K. Adkins, 77, of Chillicothe, died at 11:48pm February 21, 2025, at her residence following a brief illness.
She was born February 18, 1948, in Hamilton, OH, to the late Austin Turner and Bernadine May (Burton) Guthrie.
Surviving are her two children: Vicki (Ronald) Stewart, of Chillicothe; and Vollina "Wally" Adkins, of Chillicothe; grandchildren: Makayla Jones, Chillicothe, Miranda Heise, Frankfort, Duke Bowling, Chillicothe, Kaydon Adkins, Chillicothe, and Averyanna Adkins, Hillsboro; great-grandchildren: Heireonna Heise, Fennixx Nash and Poseidon Nash, all of Frankfort, and Zarah, Zain and Zayleah Moccabee, all of Chillicothe; sisters Becky Guthrie and Martha Carnes; and brothers John Guthrie and Lawrence Guthrie. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her great-granddaughter Luna-Jewel Heise; sisters: Juanita, Lavilla, Mary and Shirly Guthrie; and brothers: Toby, Curtis, Earl, Austin, Butch, Ralph and Mitchell Guthrie.
Cremation services are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
