Bethany Cosby

Bethany Michelle Cosby, 47, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord on December 2, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Michelle was born February 1, 1966 to Janet (Tanner) Cosby and the late Darwin (Doc) Cosby. She is survived by her mother; sister, Holly (Joe) Keel; brothers, Keith (Tammy) Tanner and Martin Cosby; nieces and nephews who were the light of her life, Joe Keel Jr., special niece, Joy (Scott) Finley, Corbin (Jami) Tanner, Donavon Keel, Summer Finley, Mia and Maddex Tanner; an adopted nephew Christian Austin Beverly; an adopted niece Nikki Valentine, and close family friends Chancy and Dorothy Valentine. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, whom all loved her dearly. Michelle was a 1984 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She had been employed by Dollar General up until her illness. As a result of Michelle's hobbies, couponing and shopping, she generously gave away so much to family and friends. Giving to others gave Michelle much happiness. Michelle was also an avid collector of baseball caps and sneakers. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday at the HALLER FUNERAL HOME, Pastor Roger Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Caldwell Cemetery. Friends may call 11-1 Friday at Haller's.
