Bethany Copas

Bethany Dawn (Gray) Copas passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 17, 2026

Bethany was born on January 14, 1973 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Roger Gray and the late Cynthia Gray.

Bethany was a 1991 graduate of Chillicothe High School. Bethany became a licensed practical nurse. Being a nurse brought Bethany a lot of happiness.

Bethany fought many battles in her life, but those battles never took away the love she had for her children. Bethany used to say the song lyric, "Pretty pretty please, don't you ever feel like you are less than perfect" to her children. God knew how hard she had been fighting. She is finally free and at peace. Revelation 21:4 says: "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

Bethany is survived by her parents, Roger and Linda Gray; her loving daughters, Madison, Meghan, Makenzie, and Myah Copas; brothers, Shawn (Suzanne) Gray and Josh Duffy; sisters, Bobbi (Jonathan) Kirch and Krista McCann. She is also survived by serveral aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, her ex-hsuband, Mark Copas and her bonus daughters, Roni and Tori.

A celebration of life will be held on Satuday, August 29, 2026 at 2:00pm at the Haller Funeral Home with burial to follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:00pm until the time of service.
