Beth Ann Litter, 68, of Chillicothe, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 11, 2025 at her home, following an extended illness.
She was born October 10, 1956, in Chillicothe, daughter of the late John and Virginia (Luster) Rippeth.
Surviving is her beloved daughter, Lyndsi (Alex) Rogers; Lyndsi's father, Martin Litter; his children, Ticey (Scott) Stout, and Jansen (Denise) Litter; her beloved grandchildren, Brooks Rogers, and Hattie Rogers; her siblings, David Rippeth, Cathy Cox, Jill Merriman, Tim Rippeth, and Lisa (Kelly) Hill; nieces and nephews, Amy, Eric, Cory (Tori), Casey (Carrie), Corbin, Collin (Jordyn), Luke, and Landon; and her life long friend, Teresa Holbrook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Rich Merriman, and her good friend, Sherry Park.
Beth was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, class of 1974. She worked for the Chillicothe Library for many years before retiring in 2018. She loved spending time at her job, working with the public and children. She also enjoyed spending time reading, playing Sudoku, and camping. But most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Adena Hospice and all of her caregivers at the end of her life.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be a celebration of life service at the Main Library Annex Building, room A on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
