Beth Ann (Carman) Hill, a long-term resident of Frankfort, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 5th, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on January 26th, 1960, in Chillicothe, Ohio, Beth was known for her kindness, generosity, and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her.
Beth was a proud graduate of Unioto High School, Class of 1979. She held several positions with large corporations, and later established her own business providing cleaning services to multiple clients in Chillicothe and Frankfort. Through her work, Beth was not only known for her meticulous attention to detail but also for the personal touches she brought to her work.
Beth shared over 40 beautiful years of marriage with the love of her life, Ricky Lee Hill. Together, they created a loving family, who will carry forward her legacy. She is survived by her children, Josh (Alisha) Melott of Frankfort, Ryan (Lisa) Hill of Chillicothe, and Lindsey (Travis) Bentley of Chillicothe. Her grandchildren, Trinity Stewart, Braylynn Cunningham, Zavier Cunningham, Chloe Tackett, Connor Tackett, Hayden Melott, Claire Tackett, and Carter Bentley, were the light of her life.
Beth also leaves behind her dear sisters, Terry Roe (Mike), Lorie (Kevin) McCollough, and Nancy (Richard) Brown. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Virginia Oyer, and her father Donald Carman.
Beth loved traveling to the Virgin Islands and spent many happy times there with her husband and friends. She loved filling her home with family and friends and provided a loving home to two Japanese exchange students who attended Adena High school and became part of her extended family. Beth's compassionate nature extended to her furry companions, Stella Mae and Izzy Lou, whom she adored.
Beth, who was joyful and fun-loving, will be remembered as a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her love and generosity touched countless hearts, and she will forever be missed and her memory treasured by those who knew her.
In accordance with Beth's wishes, there will be no funeral services, but the family will receive guests at A Celebration of Life Gathering to be held to honor her on Friday, August14th, anytime between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Chillicothe.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to National Church Residence Hospice, St. Jude's Hospital, or a charity of your choice. Beth's family takes comfort in the outpouring of love and support from all who knew her.
