Beth Elliott

Beth A. Elliott, 60, of Chillicothe, died Saturday, July 24, 2010, in Wake Forest, NC, following an extended illness. She was born August 15, 1949, in Ross County to the late Arthur W. and Bernice M. Carnes Ewart. In 1972, she married Robert L. Elliott, who preceded her in death on October 31, 2009. Surviving are their sons and daughter-in-law Zachary Elliott; and Seth (Tiffany) Elliott; a grandson Brayden Elliott, all of Chillicothe; sister and brother-in-law Linda (Glenn) Cook, of Wake Forest, NC; nephews Dustin (Adria) Baker, of Rolesville, NC; Brad (Shelley) McCain, Raleigh, NC; a niece Brenda (Dennis) Draper, Dallas, TX; a sister-in-law Susan (Dwight) Beam; and mother-in-law Lily Elliott, all of Chillicothe; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many friends and colleagues from Adena Regional Medical Center. In addition to her parents and her husband, Beth was predeceased by her sister Judy Baker and her father-in-law Robert E. Elliott. Beth was a Registered Nurse, having worked for over 30 years at the Adena Regional Medical Center. Her many certifications included CNOR, CRNFA and Vascular Access Specialist. Beth was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and nurse. She loved her work and adored her family. Beth also took great pride in making blankets for many newborn babies in the community. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Due to renovations of her church, Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Friday, July 30, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Rev. William Hahn, Celebrant. Friends may call from 11-1 and 6-8pm Thursday at Haller Funeral Home, where a wake service will be held at 8:00pm. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to either the American Cancer Society; or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
