Bessie Riehle

Bessie Marie Williamson Riehle, 89, of Chillicothe, went to be with her Lord 4:22 pm, Monday, August 14, 2017, at the Valley View Alzheimer's Care Center.   She was born February 27, 1928 in Ross Co. to the late Sherman and Nellie Chaney Williamson. On November 21, 1948 she married Ralph Phillip Riehle, who died June, 2003. She is survived by sisters, Opal Knapp and Norma (Gene) Gragg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings, Betty Carter, Bertha Kellough, Robert, Ralph, Lloyd and Roy Williamson.   Aunt Bess or Big Bee as she was known did not have any biological children, but cared for and mothered many over the years. Bessie and Phil's home on the farm brought much joy and love to those around them. Bessie was a cheerful giver, always giving gifts and sending cards to others. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.   Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Friday at Shady Glen Church, Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7 pm Thursday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
