Bernice I. (Raraigh) Stull, 89, of Frankfort, passed away May 23, 2013, after an extended illness. She was formerly of Elderton, PA where she and her husband made their home for more than sixty years. She had resided with her daughter Cass in the Frankfort area for the past 10 years. She was born on July 11, 1923 near Dayton, PA to Duff C. and Leone M. McGaughey Raraigh. She was a graduate of Sagamore High School. During World War II she worked in Pittsburgh making gliders for the military. She married Kenneth M. Stull in 1947. She was a member of Elderton Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday school, and belonged to the Elderton Senior Citizens Center. In recent years she attended the First Church of God, Chillicothe where she was a member of the Prime Timers. She enjoyed watching golf and basketball and the Swamp People. In her younger years she enjoyed fishing and digging in the dirt. Her greatest accomplishment was being a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Ruth G. Marshall and grandchild Katlyn O'Toole. She is survived by a son, Robert (Linda) K. Stull, Boliver, PA, daughters Cassie I. Stull, Frankfort, and Susan B. (Mike) O'Toole, of Yorktown, VA; grandchildren, Joe, Cindy, Zach, Chuck, Allison, and Eric; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dalton H. Raraigh and Kenneth C (Bonnie) Raraigh, both of Dayton, PA; a special brother-in-law, Tom Marshall, of Plumville, PA; many nieces; nephews; friends in Ohio and Pennsylvania; two special friends and two of the golden girls with whom she lived, Patricia Wilson and daughter Kim Frey; and her pet and companion Cricket. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at the Haller Funeral Home, with Pastor Matt Roe and Pastor Greg Pennington officiating. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at Haller's. A memorial service and burial will be in the Elderton Cemetery, Elderton, PA at a later date.
